All Fruity One Gift Baskets, Hampers, Teddygrams, Balloons in a Box etc for delivery outside of our FREE Hand Delivery Area are sent by either NEXT DAY or fixed date delivery via our trusted courier. Once your order has been despatched, we will email you a tracking number, allowing you to follow the progress of your fruit or gift basket. Local Orders are Personally Hand Delivered by Ourselves in our Fruity One Truck.
Important
Courier Delivery to Hospitals, Maternity Wards, Nursing Homes, Government Buildings, Military Bases, Company Buildings etc, will be made to the relevant reception area.
All orders must be signed for.
If the delivery is to a residential address and no one is available to sign, the parcel can be left in a safe place at the address or with a neighbour.
For next day delivery orders must be received by 1pm
Gift Baskets and Hampers that do NOT contain Fresh Produce or Perishables can be sent out 6 days a week
Any order for Fresh Fruit Baskets or other Gift Baskets WITH Fresh Produce taken after 1pm on a Friday will be put together Fresh, Wrapped and Embellished on the following Monday and will be delivered on the Tuesday.
No Courier deliveries for Fresh Fruit Baskets are made on Mondays, Sundays, Bank Holidays or the day after Bank Holidays.
Please note it is the sender's responsibility to ensure that there is an available person to accept delivery for or on behalf of the recipient.

We offer FREE next day hand delivery for our more local customers within a 10 mile radius of Great Yarmouth.
Furthermore we are delighted to offer a FAST and Friendly same day hand delivery service for orders received by 1pm @ a small additional cost of £6.00 within a 10 mile radius of Great Yarmouth
Delivery to Hospitals
It is the responsibility of the sender to check that the person to receive the basket is still in the hospital and in the same ward before confirming the order. No responsibility will be accepted by 'The Fruity One' for changes once order is placed.
Christmas
Christmas is always extremely busy and we would advise customers to order as early as possible and choose a delivery date no later than 1 working week before Christmas Day to ensure delivery at this peak time.
Delivery Hints & Tips
To assist our Courier in the event of delivery difficulties please would you provide us with the recipient's telephone number. Rest assured the recipient will only be contacted should there be a problem making delivery. As the vast majority of our Baskets and Hampers are sent as gifts we do not contact the recipient unless there is a problem that we cannot easily overcome. Please provide us with a full postal address and the correct postcode. Postcodes are vital. If the postcode is incorrect or missing, your delivery WILL be delayed.
PRICES & AVAILABILITY
The prices payable for the products that you order are clearly set out in the web site. If, by mistake, we have under-priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we despatch the item concerned. The price of the items does not include the delivery charge which will be charged at the rates applicable at the date you place your order. If for any reason beyond our control, we are unable to supply a particular product, we will notify you as soon as possible, you may select an alternative gift or you will receive a full refund should you decide to cancel your order.
DELIVERY CHARGES
A delivery charge of £7.95 per basket is levied on all orders outside of our FREE local hand delivery area. This is a standard delivery charge and covers any additions or add ons to your gift order (for example chocolates, bubbly or a soft toy) when placed at the same time. Costs associated with packaging, handling, and gift cards are contained within the price of each individual gift product shown. We can include your personal message on a FREE gift card with each basket/gift ordered. Please include the wording for your message with your order.
ORDERING AND DELIVERY
Orders will be dispatched for next day delivery if received by 12 noon Monday to Thursday to most UK mainland addresses. Orders taken on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be delivered the next Tuesday. In the case of the Monday being a Bank Holiday the order will be processed on the Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday. Any changes to these delivery schedules will be notified on this page. Deliveries to Northern Ireland and certain Scottish addresses will usually take 2 working days. We regret that at present we are unable to deliver to the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

If you need to contact us please call us on 01493 781686 between the hours of 9.00am to 8.00pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays or by email on enquiries@thefruityone.co.uk. Our target response for emails will be 24 hours upon receipt wherever possible however please be patient over busy periods such as Christmas, Valentine's and Mothers' Day.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure all delivery address/details for the recipient are given correctly. The Fruity One does not accept any responsibility for costs for non delivery to the intended recipient or losses in such circumstances. Whilst we are willing to try to assist in these situations as far as possible, we will not issue refunds in any such circumstances. The Fruity One uses a third party courier who requires a signature on receipt for proof of delivery. We cannot give a time of delivery other than to say it will be between 9.00am and 5.00pm on day of delivery. Although we endeavour to deliver on the requested delivery date, this cannot always be guaranteed. The Fruity One uses a third party courier and there may be occasions when the courier who has collected the baskets is then unable to deliver on the requested day and has to deliver the following day. On these occasions we will try to notify you in advance of the late delivery but this is not always possible. It is the responsibility of the person placing the order to ensure the recipient will be there to receive the gift. In the case of non-delivery our courier will leave a card to ask the recipient to call to rearrange delivery. It is the responsibility of the recipient to arrange this redelivery and ensure that they will be there to receive it. If there is no one there to receive the gift on that occasion, our courier will return to depot for disposal. Any redirection costs incurred will be charged. For orders where a third party will accept and sign for the delivery on the recipients behalf, i.e. a hospital, airport, college, university or workplace etc, the signature of the person authorised to accept a delivery on behalf of the organisation shall be accepted as proof of delivery. Once an order has been received and your payment details confirmed you will be sent an email to confirm receipt of your order.
Nut Policy
Due to the nature of shipping and storage we cannot guarantee that our products have not come into contact with any nuts. Therefore we cannot guarantee our products are free from nuts or nut traces.
Age Restriction Alcohol
It is Illegal to Sell Alcohol to Anyone Under the Age of 18. We therefore will not sell to anyone who is not 18 years of age or over, as the law clearly requires. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If you are buying an Alcohol related product/s as a gift - the recipient must also be over 18 years old. If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. If the person receiving the order is unable to produce appropriate ID, unfortunately our couriers will be unable to leave the products.
Substitutions
We reserve the right to substitute goods whenever necessary for alternatives of an equal or higher value in all of our gift baskets and hampers. Fresh fruit and other perishables are varied to seasonal availability and quality on the day of purchase.
Order Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your Gift simply return the goods in the same condition to us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund of the goods. Unfortunately we cannot refund courier or postage charges already incurred. You will be responsible for returning the products to us at your own cost. The goods must arrive back at our Returns Department unopened and undamaged. You can cancel your order by emailing our Customer Services on enquiries@thefruityone.co.uk or Tel: 01493 781686 at anytime within 14 days from the original purchase date to obtain a returns authorisation code. No returns will be accepted without the returns authorisation code. All refunds/credits will be issued within 30 days of the cancellation, provided the goods have been returned within that period and within the terms of the policy.
Returns
Should any goods be delivered damaged or faulty we will provide a full replacement or refund. We may require any faulty or damaged goods to be returned to us. We will arrange this as necessary. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Distance Selling directive (2000)
In accordance with the Distance Selling Directive (2000), non-perishable goods cannot be cancelled after dispatch but can be cancelled before 12 noon on day of dispatch. This exemption does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer in the UK. Your purchase will be deemed to have occurred in the UK. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Liability
The Fruity One shall have no liability for indirect or consequential loss, damage, injury or expense including loss of profit, however, arising except in respect of personal injury occasioned by negligence. Your use of this website and any purchase by you on this website will be governed by English Law and will be deemed to have occurred in the United Kingdom. All legal and contractual matters, disputes, interpretations or otherwise, are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction, Laws and Courts of England. By placing any order with us you are clearly accepting all the terms and conditions as stated above.
